The board is a matrix of 8×8 interactive cells, which represents a part of a landscape. The board comes equipped with switches, LEDs, and is preprogrammed with game rules. Each LED can be set to four different states by the player: yellow (house), green (farm), red (shop) and off. Switching between states is easy – when a player pushes the button, the LED switches states. Supermarkets appear as a result of the programme only – players cannot directly build or destroy them.
Each board is battery powered. Boards can be connected to each other on all four sides, using VGA-style connectors. Up to 16 boards can be connected at once.

Software that is controlling the game play and driving the LEDs is written in C++ by Mr Stock
